More than Rs 2 crore missing in Imran Khan’s declared assets

Mianwali: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan and other leaders have disclosed their assets on PTI’s official website. Deficiency of 2 crore has been noticed in Khan’s declared assets, as compare to his assets which were declared in 2001.

In Oct 2001, Khan submitted his nomination application to the returning officer of the constituency of NA-71 Mianwali in which he declared his assets of 5 crore 62 lacs, mentioned his furniture worth of 2 lacs, an account of Al-Falah Bank (Islamabad) account number 02903350 was short list with the wealth of $15208 (US Dollars).

According to the Khan’s 2001 declaration in his fixed assets he mentioned his house (House no. 2, Zaman Park, Lahore) worth of 55 lacs; the worth of apartment 8, B-II, Ramna-4, Islamabad was 11 lacs and 75 thousands, the current worth of this apartment is 25 lacs, agricultural land (Islamabad) the worth of this land was 8 lacs and 30 thousands while the current worth of this land is 8 lacs and 50 thousands, the worth of agricultural land (District-Khanewal) was 10 lacs and the existing worth of this land is still 10 lacs and the worth of agricultural land (Noorpur, Islamabad) is 20 crore.
