Banned extremist organization, Sipah-e-Sahaba splitting

Banned extremist organization, ASWJ-SSP has issued two weeks ultimatum to Malik Ishaq group to return collected funds unconditionally. Malik Ishaq has been warned to follow party's direction otherwise an strict decision will be taken against him and his group. ASWJ-SSP has formed a committee which will perform the task. There are clear indications that banned extremist organization, SSP has divided into factions.

Malik Ishaq group has reinstated its conveners in all over Punjab and it has gathered funds. Malik Ishaq visited the district of Southern Punjab where he gave target to his men to gather funds of 8 lacs in the holy month of Ramadan.


According to the sources, Ishaq had called meeting for reorganizing of his group in Punjab and the meeting held in one of the headquarters of ASWJ-SSP on 24th Aug, 2012, afterwards the meeting adjourned.


On the other side, the meeting of ASWJ-SSP held in Jhang in which the central leadership and the provincial Presidents of four provinces attended the meeting. In this meeting, attendees demanded to give final decision on the Malik Ishaq's faction. Attendees suggested that the membership of Malik Ishaq and his companions should be suspended and kicked them out. Some of attendees said that instead of kicking them out, a notice should be given to them and give them time frame to return funds and show trust on the leadership, otherwise they will be kicked out.
