Karachi: Every year, cattle market has been organized at Super Highway in Sohrab Goth, Karachi. It is the biggest cattle market in Asia, according to sources, extortion mafias have occupied the exit of the cattle market and are asking for extortion money worth [200 rupees and more] per sacrificial animal. The area of cattle market is the dominant area of Awami National Party [ANP] and it is being suspected that hooligans of ANP are involved in the activity of extortion. Eyewitnesses have revealed that they are taking extortion forcefully, on refusal they are threatening innocent people.
