The Bhoja Airlines plane that crashed last night (20 April 2012) in a tragic accident near Islamabad is an obsolete plane and is not allowed to fly without proper maintenance. It had been dubbed as the 'Fligh Shroud' as this plane has the most number of crashed during the last decade. According to sources Boeing 737 costs $400,000 to be purchased, but it requires to be maintained at a cost of $ 1 million before it is flied. The plane that crashed last night was 27 years and nine months old. According to sources, the plane was grounded quite a bit ago, but the plane was cleared through illegal means. The pilot, Noorullah Afridi,was also a controversial figure as there were serious objections to his pilot license by Civil Aviation Authority. This was Bhoja Airlines first flight after it closed down in 2001.
