It has been learnt that chicken has suddenly vanished from the markets in Karachi. It is speculated that it is a move by hoarders ahead of the implementation of General Sales Tax (GST).
The rumour has also had it that chicken has been removed from the market on the orders of Hamza Shahbaz (Shahbaz Sharif has a number of big poultry farms).
