Owais Muzaffar ‘Tappi’ resigned because of Bilawal

06-11-2013
XReports has learnt from its sources that an internal conflict between Owais Muzaffar and Asif Zardari’s son Bilawal Bhutto has led to Owais’s resignation in the Sindh Cabinet.

According to the sources, Zardari and Bilawal had a meeting at Bilawal House the night before Tappi’s resignation. In this meeting Bilawal put forward his plan that PPP’s leadership should be given to the younger leadership, Bilawal and Hasnain Mirza, so that they can lead the party according to their own will and power. This angered Owais alias Tappi who protested against such a transfer of power.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari later leaked some information though some sources of Tappi’s illegal activities to DG Rangers, who presented these facts to the COAS Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. Owais Muzaffar alias Tappi then resigned from his ministry as an act to protest against Bilawal’s defiance of his elders.
