Karachi: The plain-clothed personnel’s fashion in the rank of law enforcement agencies is not new especially in Karachi. In last year, Karachi has witnessed that how did plain-clothed private personnel arrest people and take them to an undisclosed locations where they could apply brutal torture techniques, human rights reported such incidents too.
Former Addl. IG Shahid Hayat Khan still fosters his own private plain-clothed teams in Karachi city, the XReports learnt. According to the sources, Shahid Hayat’s blue-eyed, ASI Faisal Jaffri and SSP East Pir Muhammad Shah, both are operating joint-team. Last days, the team raided Jamali Goth but ultimately they were beaten by angry mob. Later on, those private personnel were handed over to police.
Sources said, after this incident, former cop Shahid Hayat rushed SSP East office and pressurized police officers to release his special team members. Now all have been freed.
