A large number of protesters (protesting over load-shedding) beat PTI leader Munawar Manj when he tried to intercept protester with Aerial firing in Faisalabad. According to report, hundreds of furious labourers of power loom rallied on Samundri Road of Faisalabad and started stern protest against long and un-ending power load shedding; the police were trying to control the annoyed protesters when suddenly the PTI leader Munawar Manj appear on the scene and opened fire to disperse the protesters. The enraged mob left police aside and dragged Munawwar Manj and his son, and start beating them harshly, mob also bang their car with sticks rods and rock, and left in bad shape.
Later on, the police arrested the PTI leader for opening fire in public.

PPP Raja Riaz's factory gas connection cut over stealing gas

Faisalabad: The Sui Northern Gas Company on Tuesday disconnected gas connection of a factory owned by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Raja Riaz for stealing gas and non-payment of dues.

Sources said that the opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz did not pay dues of his factory, situated on Jhang road, of Rs15 million for last 18 months and stealing the gas by illegal connection.

“Raja Riaz was avoiding paying the bill by using political influence,” the sources said.
