ISLAMABAD: Punjab police has closed all shops despite order of high court due to security reasons in Faizabad.

According to the reports, Kokak flyover has also been blocked with containers. As well as, Murree road has also been blocked for people.

“This step will take to maintain security of capital city Islamabad where the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI’s) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT’s) workers will be gathered for Azadi and Long march,” police said.

Javed Chaudhry said that only Pakistan Army can rescue Nawaz Sharif’s regime from on-going state crisis.

Karachi: Rumours are surfacing about the return of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) supremo Pervez Musharraf in Pakistan.

Head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) social media desk, Awab Alvi son of Arif Alvi has tweeted about the return of Musharraf. He tweeted that graffiti have been seen in Karachi about the return of Musharraf with the slogan of “Welcome Musharraf”. Further he mentioned the alliance of Musharraf with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in his tweet.

In the reply of Awab’s tweet, former PTI leader Shireen Mazari tweeted that she has heard also about the return of Musharraf from his friends. According to her, Musharraf will arrive in Islamabad on 14th January and further she mentioned that he will join the long march of Tahir-ul-Qadri and MQM.

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has termed Imran Khan’s long march not more than a political drama and gimmickry.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, the senior PML-N leader questioned why a person who could not maintain his political reputation for a few months, should tell the nation why he decided to march to South Waziristan when drone attacks were hitting the North Waziristan area.

“The nation remembers that Imran Khan initially had announced a long march to North Waziristan but now why as he silently changed his plans?” Nisar asked. The opposition leader observed that the nation was facing the menace of price hike, loadshedding and injustices but the Tsunami Khan was bent upon fooling the nation with new dramas.

He said it seems that General Pasha was still behind all that Imran was doing saying and is deteriorating reputation could not be restored with such kind of dramas.

He maintained that the nation had come to know that Imran neither had any vision nor any policy or plan to bring the country out of severe problems like terrorism, drone attacks and militancy. “Imran should tell the nation how the drone attacks can be stopped by such childish acts,” he said.
