So-called Islamic conference in Lal Masjid targets Quaid-e-Azam

Monday, 26 November 2012

26-11-2012
Tanveer Zamaan Khan, a Pakistani political analyst, has written an article in which he disclosed some information regarding a so-called Islamic conference in Lal Masjid, Islamabad. According to Tanveer, he received a poster of this conference. He was astonished to read the 5 main points of that conference.
  • The (Kufr) non-Islamic constitution of Pakistan.
  • Declaration of fatwa on Malala Yousafzai.
  • Mohammad Ali Jinnah: The traitor of Islam.
  • Apostasy of Asif Ali Zardari.
  • Transformation of Pakistan under the Shariah.
The speakers of the conference will be Anjum Choudhry (Islam for UK), Umar Bakri (Ameer Ul Muhajiroon), Abu Wala ( Director Truth Commission), Abu Bara (Expert Islamic Geo-respondence) and Abu Rumais (Chairman New Muslim Society).

Now the theme of the conference seems to be simple to deny the constitution of Pakistan, its creator and Malala.

The problem here is not about these people's view. That is fine.Everyone has the right to hold their particular views regarding any situation, but imposing that thought on the society is awful.
Intelligence agencies and law-enforcers need to take action on this.

Taliban intimidate another student in Sawat

Hina Khan speaks at a press conference in 2009.

The Pakistani Taliban have threatened to attack another schoolgirl for exposing their atrocities, the Dawn reported Monday.

Hina Khan from Swat was on Taliban hit list for publicly criticising their atrocities, the daily said.
Her family has claimed that despite repeated requests for security from the authorities, no protection was provided to them. They relocated to Islamabad a few years ago.

"But now I feel I would not be able to go to school in Islamabad as well after the renewed threats," Hina, a Class 11 student, told the newspaper.

"I am more worried now because after the attack on Malala, a red cross on our door and subsequent threats to my family, has made us more insecure," she said.

A red cross marked on Hina Khan’s residence.
According to her father Raitullah Khan: "A few days ago when I came out of my house I saw a red cross on my gate but I removed it assuming it might have been drawn by some kids, but the very next day it appeared again, which really terrified me."

"Next day, we received a call that Hina will be next after Malala," the daily quoted Khan as saying.

Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Oct 9.

She was on her way home from school when an attacker wearing police uniform stopped the school bus and opened fire at her. She was seriously injured.

She is currently undergoing treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Britain.

Imran Khan still refrains to name Malala’s shooters

Wednesday, 10 October 2012

10-10-2012
Discussing his “Taliban policy”, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Mr. Imran Khan in a TV talk-show said that today we have to make new relations with the locals of tribal areas. During interview, host Talat Hussain asked the question that why doesn't he condemn the suicide attacks, kidnapping for ransom, torching government assets and other barbarism of Taliban? In response, Khan took a U-Turn and said there are many condemnation statements on the PTI’s official website. Talat Hussain asked the question, who attacked peace icon of Pakistan award winning teenager ‘Malala Yousafzai’? First Imran adopted the attitude just like he does not know who did that but he revealed on repeatedly asking that attackers were Taliban. But still, Khan did not condemn the attack on the Malala during interview.

Further Imran clarified that PTI and its leaders/workers are helpless to condemn the terrorism and barbarism of Taliban because PTI leaders and workers are active in Khyber PakhtunKhwa and Tribal areas. He added that if PTI gives any statement against Taliban then who will provide security to the leaders and workers of PTI?
