I am Pathan — supremo of Karachi police responds to Nisar

Karachi: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan asked Karachi police chief, Shahid Hayat Mehsud, who is being criticized by MQM over custodial killings of its workers in Karachi, that “What is your problem?”

Hayat Mehsud responded that “I am Pathan”, it has also been reported that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers, who had faced severe torture, latter disclose that they were being tortured on their ethnicity (Mohajir basis). On the other-side, Journalists and intellectuals label MQM as ‘ethnic based’ political party, when it condemns such discrimination against Mohajirs.

When the supremo of Karachi police is declaring himself as “Pathan”, an ethnicity, and none of any journalist or intellectual has condemned such statements from police chief.

Abbas Afridi accepts “killing Mohajirs” after confirming their ethnicity

Abbas Afridi, who was recently arrested fleeing from Pakistan, has revealed some shocking information to the investigating officers.

Afridi accepted killing unknown people after confirming their ethnicity from their CNICs, particularly Mohajirs. He also acknowledged that he had given bribe to various security agencies, including Police, Rangers and anti-Narcotics force and got his political rivals killed in fake encounters.

Remember that Afridi is one of the most wanted target-killers and drug-lords of Karachi. He was particularly feared in the area of Kati Pahari. Afridi has the backing of several government officials and his pictures with famous political leaders and bureaucrats pointing towards a bigger hand, leading to Islamabad, Larkana and Peshawar, behind the mafia in Karachi.

Zulfiqar Mirza distributed arm-licenses to conduct ‘Mohajir Genocide’: PTI’s Imran Ismail

Dep. Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Ismail has admitted in a private TV program that former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza has distributed 300,000 arms licenses to conduct “Mohajir-Genocide” in Karachi.

After those threats from Mirza, specific ethnic-based people had been killed in Karachi after checking their identity cards.

Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party's Supremo, Dr Qadir Magsi, has warned the "Mohajir Sooba Tehreek's" supporters that he would not let them divide the Sindh. He said that he has only put the Kalashnikov down and ,if needed, he can pick it up again. He alleged that MQM is a party of killers. He alleged that Mr Zardari has allied with the murderer of Sindhis. Who does not know that the spearhead of the incident of 30 September 1998 was Dr Qadir Magsi and Dr Safdar Sarki who killed scores of Mohajir (Urdu Speaking migrants) and Sindhi citizens for apparently spreading terror in the city of Hyderabad.

Wake up call? Mohajirs demand separate province

KARACHI: Members of the Mohajir Province Movement protested and staged demonstrations in the Liaquatabad area of Karachi, demanding their own separate province.
According to the protesters, Mohajirs were not being given their rights and now had no choice but to ask for a separate province for themselves. The protest included a telephonic address by the chairman of the Mohajir Province Movement.

Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Chief Pir Pagara Friday said the district system would be most detrimental to the mohajirs.

He said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members would call on him tomorrow (Saturday), warning those who back up district system to understand that the issue could lead to massive bloodbath.

Pathan spends where he lives, Pir Pagara said stressing they are in Sindh as many as they are in Karachi.

“There will be genocide across Sindh leaving mohajirs at the losing end,” Pir Pagara maintained.
