Senior current affairs anchor, Jasmeen Manzoor, is likely to leave for Canada for her studies, apparently. Jasmeen had been very vocal about the alleged life threats she was receiving by targeting a certain political party of Sindh.

It has been hinted that she has withdrawn her media-portfolio to leave for Canada for studies purpose and that she will continue her life-style in Canada.

Sources added that she got admission in a community college in Canada and got Canadian student visa on this behalf.

Mubasher Luqman, the journalist/columnist, who is also a Canadian citizen, has helped her to get the visa for Canada.

She had started admission/visa process about a year back. She is expected to stay with Luqman’s family in Canada.

Two seemingly desperate and isolated anchors in media fraternity seek for sympathy from each other and publicly attest to their love.

TV talk show host and columnist, Mubasher Luqman has praised lady-anchor person Jasmeen Manzoor in his tweet.

Mubasher posted in his tweet that Jasmeen is a super human being and a great friend and he is proud of her.

In the response, Jasmeen said “I Love You” to Mubasher Luqman.

Mubasher Luqman, who was pretty fond of MQM's politics some time back, seems to be in trouble now.

Mubasher had a rapport with MQM's leadership and often had telephone talks and personal meetings with them. It seems that the conversations that Mubasher held with MQM supremo, Mr Altaf Hussain, were recorded or filmed by MQM and are available to Scotland Yard for investigations. It seems that Scotland Yard also found something against Mr Luqman in those tapes.

The tweets from Luqman and Mr Saqlain Imam, A BBC journalist, have also revealed that Luqman provoked Mr Hussain against Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad, Governor Sindh, on some issues.

How credible an anchor Mr Mubasher Luqman is can be judged from the fact that he called a known fraud in his programme as an International Human Rights ambassador.

Dr Shahid Amin Khan, who a group of foreigners into coming to Pakistan and then exploiting their plights.

Mubasher Luqman is also known for anti-PTI and pro-MQM stance some years back, but since after the elections, his stance has suddenly reversed.
