9th class girl student recovered from cell of PML-N lawmaker’s nephew

Sahiwal: Kidnapped girl student has been recovered from the lock-up of ruling political party, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), PML-N lawmaker’s nephew.

The student of ninth class was kidnapped from Lahore 2.5 months earlier. It has been confirmed that she had been subjected to sexual abuse and rape.

Qureshi vs Imran - PTI's VC Qureshi likely to join Nawaz-League

Islamabad: Vice chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Shah Mehmood Qureshi is likely to join Nawaz-League [PML-N] after having dispute with Imran Khan.

According to sources, Qureshi was annoyed with the leadership of PTI after not giving him the chance to speak during the peace march gathering of PTI in Tank.

“Qureshi has started negotiations with PML-N and soon an announcement is imminent,” they said.

PML-N leader Mushahid Ullah Khan refused to confirm the news of Qureshi joining PML-N but said that negotiations were going on with the PTI leader.

It is to be mentioned here that after PTI’s large public gathering in Lahore and Karachi, several renowned politicians joined the party but now many of them had either left the party or ready to do so.

Wife of Hamza Shahbaz ‘Ayesha Ahad’ beaten by PML-N workers

Lahore: Workers of Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) accused of harassing and beating up the wife of Hamza Shahbaz “Ayesha Ahad Malik” when she tried to meet Hamza upon his arrival at Alhamra Art Council, Lahore.

Ayesha claimed that Hamza married with her and she had all evidences, including the video of the wedding and relevant documents. Earlier, X-Reports had also exposed the secret marriage of Hamza Shahbaz with Ayesha Ahad Malik.

Ayesha mentioned that she will not stop trying to meet him at any cost. She alleged that Hamza was going to marry Dr Rabia without her consent and prayed to court in this regard.
Ayesha Ahad is the daughter of former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader and film producer Ahad Malik. She also served as an MPA on PML-N’s ticket.

Rawalpindi: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has lodged FIR against leader of N-League, Hanif Abbasi over Ephedrine Case. Abbasi’s company acquired illegal quota for 500kg Ephedrine, AFN sources claimed. FIR has been registered against Abbasi in the ANF’s station. Hanif Abbasi is the member of National Assembly from Nawaz-League.

Islamabad: From past six months, members of treasury benches and opposition members were targeting each other, but now ice has been thawed between government and opposition. Both have decided to support each other. Ruling political power, PPP and opposition party, N-League have decided to supporter interests of each other just before upcoming election. According to sources, both powers are combining against Imran Khan, just before they had combined against Pervez Musharraf. Sources said, Opposition power, PML-N has criticised government artificially and N-league didn’t resist the -bill.

Talat Hussain blasted Imran and Nawaz over hypocritical stance

On Tuesday, US Ambassador in Pakistan Cameron Munter revealed that Imran Khan (PTI) and Nawaz Sharif (PMLN) both assured him of a pro-US stance after next elections. Munter said, chiefs of PML-N and PTI both leaders had assured him that they will completely support the US.
While at the other hand, both leaders publicly portrayed as they were anti-US, by their speeches and statement they preached hatred and fuel enraged against US but Munter's statement has brought turmoil to the politics of Pakistan. Interesting point is that, none of the two above named leaders denied it yet.
Talat Hussain, a reowned anchorperson, analyst and journalist lashes out the policies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and N-League. Talat expresses in his column "Raah-e-Raast", Imran has changed his policies. Imran and his party had staged demonstration against Drone Attacks and threatened government on the re-opening of NATO supply. It was expected that Imran's party will oppose re-opening of NATO supply but Imran didn't do any thing, Talat wrote. When he asked about PTI's stance over re-opening of NATO supply, few of PTI leaders disliked this bitter question. Talat added, PTI is the hope for youth but right now it feels like whatever is going on in Pakistan either good or bad is not a concern of PTI, as they are involve in their intra party elections.

Lahore: Javed Hashmi will meet Kulsoom Nawaz after coming back from USA. According to sources Kulsoom disclosed it to journalist that she wants to meet Javed Hashmi. Javed Hashmi responded by inviting her to his home in Multan and said to the journalist that she is like his sister and she can come to his house whenever she wants. Seems that maybe Kulsoom Nawaz will take a message of Nawaz Sharif to Hashmi.

A student who received a laptop after Punjab Government's Laptop Scheme has said that there were Punjabi Stage dramas and Dances (Mujras) in the DVDs of software pack with the laptop. Keep remember, it's free laptop scheme which was started by PML-N's government. These laptops were distributed by the supremo of PML-N Mr. Nawaz Sharif to the students of Bahudin Zikria University on Tuesday. This exposes the Islamic face of Punjab government. Well after that Pakistan should be renamed Banana Republic now.

Punjab Government has started threatening Dunya News management for revealing PIC medicines scandal.
Dunya News broke and highlighted the tragic story about wrong medicines that were being given by the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
As a result of these contaminated drugs, more than 137 poor heart patients have lost lives and an uncounted number is still suffering life-threatening allergies.
However, the Punjab government, instead of putting its house in order, has started threatening Dunya News with dire consequences for projecting the cause of the poor people.
Senior anchors and management of Dunya News have been given direct threats.
Journalists and human rights organisations have expressed great concern and resentment over the dictatorial attitude of the Punjab government, and called such steps as attack on free media. Pervez Shaukat, President Federal Union of Journalist, said that any regime s days get numbered when it embarks on such dictatorial steps. He said the Federal Union of Journalist would stage a protest to condemn the threats and to express solidarity with Dunya News.
Similarly, Lahore Press Club President Sarmad Bashir expressed regret over the Punjab government s attitude, saying the media has its duty to expose wrongdoings of the government. Sarmad said the LPC would stage a protest tomorrow on the call of the Federal Union of Journalist.
Revealing the extent of threats, senior anchoperson Mubashar Luqman said that anchors and staff have been warned that their wherabouts and addresses had been listed and anything could happen if ruffling truth about Punjab goverbnment s performance was reported further. He said that the callers would even say that they knew the exact addresses of the schools the kids of Dunya News management go to.
Mubashar Luqman also said while the news of the threats is being aired, certain cable operators have reported that they have been pressurised by the Punjab government to cut off Dunya News transmissions.
He said that Punjab government has also been trying to cover the news of bird flu virus in the province because some PML-N stalwarts have huge stakes in the poultry industry.
It is confirmed separately that Dunya News tranmissions in some areas of Rawalpindi have been cut off.
Meanwhile, Azam Chaudhry, Secretary General Lahore Press Club, said that a fabricated case, invoking section 302, has been registered against Dunya News Chief Executive Mian Amir Mehmood in the Gulberg police station.

Lahore: Shahbaz Sharif has been challenged in Punjab High Court on the basis that he has kept 18 ministries to himself. 
Naushab Khan Advocate has submitted a petition in Lahore High Court in which he has made Chief Minister Punjab's principal secretary the opposite party. It has been said in petition that Chief Minister has not been able to fulfil his constitutional responsibilities due to his act and the recent drug reaction in Punjab Institute of Cardiology is an open proof of that.

Lahore: Punjab government's Laptop scheme also seems to go down in the soil as the 'Sasti Roti Scheme' did. Even after the elapsing of 3 months after the announcement, no laptop has been given to anyone. The terms on which the laptops are to be given are continually changed and as a result students are unable to get any. On the other hand, it can be expected that these Rs 3.74 billion/- would also end in the hands of corrupt bureaucracy.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders inculding Javed Hashmi showed their concerns over Imran's statement on the alliance with N-League. Imran's statement annoyed Hashmi and most Leaders in PTI, they demanded Imran not to talk about alliance with PML-N in future. Hashmi added that PTI will not make alliance with N-League or any other political party until their leaders do not bring their money back from the foreign banks.

Chaos in party polls: Nawaz Sharif left the hall without delivering a word

PML-N workers rejected the provincial party polls by calling it selections of favourite ones. 
On the second day of PML-N Chairman Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Quetta, Sardar Sanaullah Zahri was elected provincial president while Naseebullah Bazai was elected general secretary in the provincial party vote.
A number of party workers rejected the election of both the leaders, after which the workers have been divided into two parts and started chanting slogans for and against the decision creating unrest in the ceremony.
In the wake of rumpus in the ceremony, Nawaz Sharif left the function without addressing the workers. Media were also stopped to cover the event.
