Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major-General Asim Bajwa said that I could not anticipate that any citizen or any political party of Pakistan would support Taliban terrorists (who were targeting innocent children).

Further, he stated, “if any citizen or political party supports Taliban terrorists then nation will decide the final verdict“.

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan said after the government had avoided peace talks with Taliban under US pressure; the religious forces should step forward and pave the way for dialogue to save the country and the image of Islam.

Delivering the Friday sermon at Mansoora masjid, the JI chief said if clerics did not rise to the occasion, they would be driven to a blind alley and would have no way out. He warned that neither jet bombings on tribal people could help restore peace nor suicide bombings could pave the way for the enforcement of Shariah.

He said clerics had played key role in framing the 1973 Constitution, and it was their duty at this juncture to protect the country and the constitution. A charge sheet has been issued against the religious parties and they would have to answer that, he added.

He said the enemy had always used differences of the Islamic sects and schools of thought as a weapon against Muslims. The need of the hour was that clerics of different schools of thought should evolve an effective strategy to counter the current campaign against Islam.

He said the propaganda that Taliban did not accept the country’s constitution was being made at this moment with a motive, and the present rulers were going to fulfil Washington’s old desire for annihilating the North Waziristan. He said hundreds of people were falling victim to bombings in Waziristan. He said bombings did not hit a target, they also killed innocent people and after Swat and Bonier, thousands of people had been forced to shift from Waziristan.

PESHAWAR: The proscribed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan outlined two conditions to hold talks with the government.

Ehsanullah Ehsan, spokesman for the terror outfit, in a video message blamed the government for being non-serious over their earlier ceasefire offer.

The TTP spokesman expressed no confidence over the military for what it said its violation of past agreements reached upon between the army and the militants.

He said the Taliban would hold talks with the government if Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Munawar Hasan, and Nawaz Sharif came forward for being guarantor.

He put second condition by demanding the government to release Taliban leaders Muslim Khan, Haji Umar and Maulana Mehmood, members of militia’s political wing.

Reacting over a peace offer by the founding father of Pakistan’s nuclear program Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, who Saturday said he was ready to become a mediator between the Taliban and the government, Ehsan termed the nuclear scientist an asset for Pakistan and said his offer was being considered.

He further said that the militia would seep up its attacks against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, a government ally in Sindh and the centre.

Lahore: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has stopped party officials to “condemn Taliban” over any incidents of terrorism in Pakistan. Mr. Khan has instructed party officials to condemn only incidents of terrorism and disallowed officials to condemn Taliban.

According to the PTI source, party has mentioned that it will take strict action against those who will go against the party policy.

CID catches arm supplier to PAC & Taliban

KARACHI: The arm supplier for banned groups, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Peoples Amn Committee (PAC) in Karachi, was apprehended by the Crime Investigation Department’s (CID) Anti Extremist Cell (AEC) on Friday.
According to the authorities, a huge cache of rockets, hand grenades, arms and ammunitions were also seized which were supposed to be delivered to the two groups to target police officials.
The AEC chief, SSP Chaudhry Aslam Khan, told the media at the CID Garden office that the suspect identified as Rehmanullah was arrested during a raid conducted at Mawach Goth. However, his companion Soba Khan managed to escape.
Khan said that the arrested man is associated with the TTP.
The AEC chief said that the arrest was a result of the information received by the three Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) members who were arrested a couple of days ago from Sher Shah.
“No one has seized as many weapons in Karachi’s history as the ones found today,” Khan told.
He said that the arrests proved that the PAC, TTP, BLA and other terror groups have strong links with each other and are working against the state.
During the initial interrogation, the accused allegedly confessed that he and his companions, namely Soba Khan, Arbela, Shakoor, Noorullah and Haji Sharang, have been smuggling arms and ammunitions to the TTP and PAC for the last two years from Balochistan via intercity buses. The weapons were kept at their hideouts and later, they delivered them to the TTP and PAC via Suzuki pickups.

Terrorists of Taliban took him to Waziristan and still he is in TTP's custody.

TTP release chinese doctor, who had kidnapped from Banaras

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have released the Chinese Dentist, Chin Wong-Chow, who they had kidnapped from Banaras, Orangi Town Karachi. The abductors had asked for a ransom of Rs. 15 Million from the abducted doctor's family.

The Chinese Consulate had contacted I.G Sindh Mushtaq Shah in this case. And on I.G Sindh's instructions, Police had conducted a search operation in Saeedabad. After this one of the abductors came to Police and told them about Doctor Chin Wong-Chow and his location.
