More internal rifts develop in PTI after by-polls

It seems that setback in politics start internal rifts within the party ranks for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Senior leader of PTI Sindh, Subhan Ali Sahil has demanded the senior PTI leadership to change the party’s Sindh leadership. He considers the Sindh leadership responsible for a disappointing performance in August 22 by-elections.

ECP allots “Bed” symbol to PTI’s candidate

Karachi: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has allotted symbols to different political parties for the by-elections.

Interesting part is that despite the symbol of “Bat”, “Bed” has been allotted to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s contesting candidate (NA-254, Karachi East-XVI), Muhammad Naeem Sheikh.

NA-25 By-elections: PTI minister supports Fazal-ur-Rehman’s son

D.I.KHAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law Minister Israrullah Gandapur is supporting JUI-F Candidate Maulana Asad Mahmood, instead of the PTI’s Candidate, Engineer Dawar Khan Kundi, on NA-25 DI khan-cum-Tank by elections, alleged PTI’s senior Vice President of DI Khan Mukhtiar Bhittani.

Bhittani talking to media alleged that the JUI-F members were openly speaking in public about the support of KP Law Minister and the minister has taken Chief Minister into confidence in this regard. He added that this kind of polices would damage PTI’s campaign and vote bank in favor of Engineer Dawar Kundi, for by-election on NA-25.

Another PTI local leader, Amir Muhammad Mehsud, told The Frontier Post, that Israrullah Gandapur support to Maulana Asad is open, and everybody know about it, adding that he was enjoying the ministry given by the PTI while in by election in NA 25-DI Khan-cum-Tank going against PTI.

When The Frontier Post contacted PTI Vice president District Tank, Shafiullah, he said he had no such information that the Law Minister was supporting JUI-F candidate but the matter would be investigated and if found guilty action would be taken against him.

Ayla Malik proving Imran’s blue eyed lady despite fake certificate

ISLAMABAD: With the evidences have already proved that her intermediate certificate was fake, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) is still adamant to field Ayla Malik for by-polls.

Ayla has been contesting from national constituency of NA-71, Mianwali, the seat vacated by the party chairman Imran Khan.

Khan’s cousin Hafeez Niaz has already alleged that people like Ms Malik are ruining the party.

According to insiders, despite revelation of her fake certificate PTI leadership looked determined to keep Ayla its candidate.

PTI chief Imran Khan will visit the constituency for getting public support on August 2.

NA – 151: Beside arch rivalry PTI & PML-N join hands for Bossan

Multan: Real fight between the PPP’s Abdul Qadir Gilani and Shaukat Bossan (the brother of PTI’s Leader Sikandar Bossan) finally has begun. Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, both are backing ‘Sikandar Bossan’. PTI announced it earlier that they will not participate in ‘by elections’ but in real PTI is fully supporting Shaukat Bossan, who is contesting the bye-election in NA-151 (Multan-IV). Banners and billboards of Imran Khan’s picture with ‘Shaukat Bossan’ are placed all over the constituency which is evidence of PTI’s involvement & backing Bossan.
In the other side, every one witnessed ‘The war of words’ between PTI and N-League on every forum, intellectual & news analyst considering rivalry, they predicted battle in election between these two. However, PTI and N-League have come closer for the success of Shaukat Bossan. Bossan is enjoying favour of both political parties; his photos along with both parties leaders and banners with the parties slogans are seen on billboards & banners.

According to the sources, It has not been allowed police and law & enforcement agencies to enter Mardan House. In the footage, ANP Workers are using automatic & sophisticated weapons in Mardan on the success in by-poll election. Other side, PML-N's candidate won by-election from the constituency of Multan NA149, Aerial firing with automatic weapons has been reported. While, ANP & Pakistan Muslim League -N both always demanded for the deweaponization and marked statements against the terrorism in politics.

PPP candidate tortures female polling staff

TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN: Pakistan People's Party candidate Waheeda Shah lost her temper in a polling station of PS-53 Tando Muhammad Khan and beat the polling staff present there.
Waheeda Shah leveled an allegation of rigging on the polling staff and slapped the faces of female staff in the presence of police and voters.
According to source, District Returning Office and SHO of the area were present inside the polling station when the incident took place.
Talking to T.V Channels Waheeda Shah alleged that the polling staff was allowing casting of fake votes. "This made me lose my temper and I hit the staff," she admitted, but added that it was only a slap.
She also admitted her mistake, saying: "It was my mistake that I hit the staff."
The PPP candidate also alleged that the polling staff was not facilitating the voters.
Meanwhile, Chief Election Commissioner Sindh Sono Khan Baloch said he had telephoned the concerned Returning Officer, seeking details of the incident. Action will be taken on a complaint in writing, he added.
