Badin: Former Pakistan People's Party leader, Zulfiqar Mirza has allowed his son's nomination by PPP on PS-57. It is to be remembered that Zulfiqar Mirza had earlier claimed that his son will not fight on PPP ticket from PS-57. But now, Zulfiqar Mirza has eaten his words. While, Mirza's son has exposed that Mirza was always with PPP, never separated from PPP and He is still member of Central Executive Committee (CEC).

PPP candidate tortures female polling staff

TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN: Pakistan People's Party candidate Waheeda Shah lost her temper in a polling station of PS-53 Tando Muhammad Khan and beat the polling staff present there.
Waheeda Shah leveled an allegation of rigging on the polling staff and slapped the faces of female staff in the presence of police and voters.
According to source, District Returning Office and SHO of the area were present inside the polling station when the incident took place.
Talking to T.V Channels Waheeda Shah alleged that the polling staff was allowing casting of fake votes. "This made me lose my temper and I hit the staff," she admitted, but added that it was only a slap.
She also admitted her mistake, saying: "It was my mistake that I hit the staff."
The PPP candidate also alleged that the polling staff was not facilitating the voters.
Meanwhile, Chief Election Commissioner Sindh Sono Khan Baloch said he had telephoned the concerned Returning Officer, seeking details of the incident. Action will be taken on a complaint in writing, he added.
