PTI’s Imran Khan demands military operation in Northern Waziristan

Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf [PTI], Imran Khan has demanded the political solution of war against the terrorism. If government gives surety of peace, PTI and Imran Khan will support the military operation in Northern Waziristan.

During the press conference in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is against any sort of militancy and terrorism. He demanded to launch military operation against anti-state elements in Northern Waziristan, further he clarified that operation should be part of political strategy.

Imran Khan has said that Pakistan Army fulfilled their responsibility in Sawat operation but politicians seemed to fail to solve this issue. He added that one lac and forty thousands Pakistani soldiers have stuck in the war against terrorism since past 8 years.

Khan said that it is necessary to establish peace in Waziristan including Karachi, Balochistan and across the country. Khan questioned to Prime Minister and President that what is the strategy for peace in all over Pakistan?

Imran Khan said that we have been called “pro-Taliban” while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has condemned the attack on Malala Yousafzai by Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.
