- In the same year of Hakeem Saeed killing, MQM’s convicted activist, Saulat Ali alias Saulat Mirza had also unveiled to Joint-interrogation-team that his party was behind Hakeem Saeed murder. At that time, it was the major breakthrough in the murder case and no one could assess either it was scripted JIT report or not.

The last speech of Hakim Saeed:
On October 17th, 1998 — the same day he was assassinated, Hakim Saeed lashed out feudal landlords and politicians in strong words. He added, those should be gunned down who are looters and saving money in foreign countries.Mr. Saeed said, feudal landlords and politicians are running drug dens in the country.
According to reports, Hakim Saeed was about to disclose the corruption of Nawaz Sharif. He had published the debt’s list of Nawaz Sharif industries.
The question is; who could be the beneficiary of Hakim Saeed’s killing, if MQM didn’t eliminate him. Mr. Saeed was the nemesis of feudal landlords and corrupt politicians. Do you believe that real perpetrators will be behind the bar and Hakim Saeed will get justice?
