Former Insaf Students Federation [ISF] Twitter head, Anas Mallick has revealed that Ghulam Sarwar Khan bought the party ticket after paying 3 crore PKR and then he was awarded the party ticket for National Assembly. Ghulam Sarwar Khan later went on to win the seat.
Now supreme court has suspended Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Ghulam Sarwar Khan membership of the National Assembly. A frustrated Malik added more that such people face the same fate. It is pertinent to mention that Malik was suspended earlier by ISF.
According to the court officials, Ghulam Sarwar was charged with criminal charges as well as a fake degree case in the court.
Ghulam Sarwar was elected from the constituency of NA-53 in the general elections in May 2013. However his counsel views that his client has been subjected to political revenge.
