KARACHI: The National Database Regulatory Authority (NADRA) on Saturday submitted a report to the election tribunal on electronic verification of votes in NA-258, Karachi.
According to NADRA report, 23, 432 votes could not be identified while only 2, 475 votes were found to be correct.
It says there was no record of 4, 680 votes while 8 votes were cast by a single person, Muhammad Saleh.
In addition, CNIC cards of 54 voters were found to be fake, 386 counter ballot did not have thumb impressions, NIC numbers registered on counter file No. 4680 were fake, 435 voters did not belong to the constituency, and 658 voters cast more than one vote.
It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N candidate Abdul Hakim Baloch had won from NA-258, Malir.
