Islamabad: In a private TV Channel ARY’s talk show ‘11th Hour with Waseem Badami’, anchor criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Imran over continues change in their stance & policies and compare PTI with ‘chamaeleon’.
He asked the guest at this time can Imran give statement against MQM’s chief Altaf as he gave in past? In reply ‘Dr. Arif Alvi’ a founding member and the Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf said, Imran approached Scotland Yard & handed over documented evidences against Altaf but Pakistani government didn’t co-operate with him. Further Alvi gave confusing statement and said; In the larger interest of Pakistan Imran and PTI wants to establish good relations with Altaf’s party (MQM), now a days Pakistan is suffering from crisis, we need to work together for the betterment of Pakistan, Alvi added.
On this surprising statement, anchor asked; earlier, did Imran want to break Pakistan that why he gave anti-Altaf statement?
Alvi handled this question smartly and replied in past there were no such crisis, as of Pakistan is facing today. Pakistan needs solidarity other than confrontation & contradiction, besides we have grievances but we will work together with MQM.
Earlier this year Senator Pervaiz Rasheed of PMLN said that the match had been fixed long ago between the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Alvi’s statement indicates a possible visit of PTI’s to MQM HQ Nine Zero or a meeting of leadership of both parties in near future.
