PTI vice-chairman, Shah Mehmood Qureshi is contesting upcoming polls as an independent from Sindh. Despite his refusal, the social networking website, Twitter was full of speculation. Omar Warraich, a reporter with the Times magazine for Pakistan, tweeted: “I feel sorry for PTI supporters. They elected Shah Mahmood their vice-president and now he’s standing as an independent.”
Qureshi met Pakistan Muslim League- Functional chief Pir Pagara here on Saturday.
Pir Pagara assured Qureshi of his support during election. It is to mention here that Qureshi has submitted his nomination papers for National Assembly seats from Umar Kot and Thar Parkar in Sindh.
