Haroon-ur-Rasheed, a pro-PTI journalist has commented over failures of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led KPK government in the private TV talk-show (Mumkin).
He said, “If Police had been put on alert, this incident would not have happened. This is the reality that Police has been inactive for too long in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). The matter is so grave that many Policemen have been heard saying that KPK ministers have been told not to condemn the attacks by Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), but only express grief in the incident. Neither Nawaz Sharif nor Imran Khan have the clarity which is required in the situation. They both want to hold talks with Taliban, but do not say with which group.”
Further he added, “Imran himself has said that there are many groups of TTP, so why does he not make is clear that with which group he wants to hold talks with.”
