The New Secretary of Information for PTI, Shafqat Mehmood was a bitter critic of PTI and Imran Khan. Shafqat Mehmood wrote an article in The News on 15 May 2009 'Imran Khan's strange politics' and in this article he dubbed Imran a failure and a westernized and liberal person. It is also to be remembered the former secretary of Information Mr Umar Cheema was a die-hard activist of PTI and he had given answer to each and every person including Shafqat Mehmood, the answer for his castigation on Imran Khan and PTI. It is only later that Umar Cheema came to know that the same person he replied for his criticism on Imran Khan would take Umar's own place in the party.
